Mumbai's suburbs were hit by intense overnight rainfall, with some areas receiving over 100 mm in four hours, causing waterlogging and traffic disruptions. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) reported significant downpours in both eastern and western suburbs, while the island city experienced moderate showers.
